1. Development-stage service
Cheekar is currently a prototype under active development. It is not yet accepting service transactions. Features may change, be suspended, or be removed without notice while testing continues. Commercial marketplace features will be governed by updated terms before launch.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to agree to these terms. You are responsible for accurate account information, protecting access to your account, and all activity performed through it. Guest sessions may be temporary and may not preserve data indefinitely.
3. Cheekar's role
Cheekar is designed to help people discover and communicate with local users who may be able to complete everyday tasks. Unless expressly stated otherwise, Cheekar is not the provider of those services and does not employ, supervise, or guarantee helpers. Users remain responsible for assessing whether a task and the person performing it are suitable and lawful.
4. Acceptable use
You may not use Cheekar to request, offer, promote, or facilitate:
- illegal activity, fraud, theft, harassment, or violence;
- weapons, controlled substances, or dangerous materials;
- services requiring a license when the helper lacks that license;
- emergency, medical, legal, or mental-health treatment;
- sexual exploitation, abuse, or unsafe activity involving minors;
- privacy violations, surveillance abuse, or unauthorized access;
- content that infringes another person's rights.
If someone is in immediate danger or experiencing a medical or mental health emergency, contact the appropriate local emergency service. Cheekar is not an emergency-response service.
5. User content
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant Cheekar the limited rights needed to store, process, display, moderate, and transmit that content for operating and improving the service. You must have the right to submit all text, images, audio, video, certificates, and other material you provide.
6. Safety and moderation
Cheekar may use automated and human review to detect prohibited, harmful, misleading, or high-risk content. We may refuse a request, limit an account, preserve relevant records, or report activity when reasonably necessary for safety or legal compliance. Automated systems can make mistakes and do not replace professional judgment.
7. Third-party services
Sign-in, messaging, infrastructure, maps, payments, and other functions may rely on third-party services. Their own terms and privacy practices may also apply. Cheekar is not responsible for third-party services outside its reasonable control.
8. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary to protect users, investigate abuse, comply with law, or maintain the service. You may stop using Cheekar at any time. Account deletion options will be available before public launch.
9. Disclaimers and liability
During development, Cheekar is provided on an "as available" basis without guarantees of uninterrupted operation, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Cheekar is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the prototype or interactions between users.
10. Changes and contact
